BOD, the Spanish company specializing in the development of architecture and engineering solutions, has designed for Merlin Properties the architectural project for the conversion of Adequa Building 1, located in the North of Madrid, in the Chamartín area, in a space multi-tenant Until a few months ago and during the last ten years it had housed the Renault headquarters.
The intervention, carried out by BOD over a space of 57,180 square meters, consisted of separating and making individual modules A, B, C and D (8, 7, 6 and 2 floors respectively), which were previously connected to each other with the objective of being able to be rented to different tenants, as is the case of Audi Center Madrid Norte, which will establish its headquarters in module D.
The project has eliminated the common corridor that joined the four modules, so that each of them now has access, access control and independent reception, as well as individual and direct connection to the parking basements.
The aesthetics of the three buildings has been maintained and the materials used in the work have been those existing in the original building. The modification has been completed with the provision of an exterior landscaping to the set and the execution of a light canopy that connects the three accesses to the modules.
